Sea buckthorn has gained a lot of popularity in the nordic kitchen. But it is also a fantastic way to use the Nordic citrus fruit in spirits. The sea buckthorn contributes lots of acid and freshness to your Gin & Tonic.
We have made a slightly different version of the classic G&T here.
- 4-5 cl ENE Organic Gin - Sea Buckthorn
- Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic
- A teaspoon of melted honey from Bornholm
- Orange peel
Pour the gin into the glass filled with ice. Stir well. Top with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic. Melt some good Bornholm honey in the glass. Garnish with orange peel
Why honey you think? The honey makes up a little for the acid that the sea buckthorn contributes and it creates a really nice balance.
